Lighting design

To design with light is to work with a miraculous medium. A medium with the power to reveal form and texture, to convey colour and pattern and to subconsciously evoke moods and emotions.

Working as a senior member of two of the UK's leading lighting practices for over twelve years has provided a wealth of knowledge and experience that informs my work.

My experience covers a very broad range of project types and sizes. From private houses to airport terminals; from four figure budgets to 7 figure lighting budgets.

Through my past projects I have built up a great deal of experience working in exhibitions. Particularly with finding creative lighting solutions for conservation exhibits.

Whatever the project, I am keen to engage closely with other members of the design team to create solutions that integrate lighting with the design vision for the project - solutions that complement and enhance.
